Event Overview:
This event is aimed at small businesses seeking a green image to the customers. It will showcase the concept of life cycle thinking and its application in business. Life cycle thinking means to understand the environmental performance throughout the whole life cycle of products and services, taking into account not only the production but also the consumption and finally the waste management, including all the relevant transportations.
During this event, ISO 14000 series would be introduced (in which life cycle assessment is standardized), commercial benefits of applying life cycle thinking into production (eco-design), management (life cycle management), marketing (carbon footprinting, eco-labelling) etc would be presented and attendances would be encouraged to discuss about applications in their own field.
