National Practice Educators Co-ordinators Network Conference
Kara Cullen and Nicola Dervan, UCD Dietetics Practice Tutors presented posters at the recent PECNET Conference. PECNET is the national Practice Educators Co-ordinators Network.
The posters highlighted how beneficial practice educators in clinical settings find the role of the practice tutor in supporting practice placements in dietetics and how useful students find an e-portfolio in demonstrating achievement of competence and enhancing their learning.
