The Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2026 place our School among the world’s leading institutions for Education Studies, ranking 71st globally, a truly outstanding achievement. The 2026 rankings evaluate performance across three core disciplines: education studies, teacher training, and academic studies in education, highlighting excellence in both research and teaching. This result is a strong testament to the depth, quality, and interdisciplinary strength of the research culture within our School. This ranking represents one of the strongest performances by an Education subject in Ireland to date, underscoring our position as a national leader with a growing global impact.
