I am a mid-career clinician academic. Funding is a major ongoing challenge. This award and the HRB Post-Doctoral Fellowship that has followed has allowed me to substantially progress my research career.
YOUR RESEARCH PROJECT IN LAY TERMS
My research focuses on health systems response to Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA). It explores the epidemiology and outcomes of OHCA in Ireland, novel systems of community first response and appropriate decision making in commencing resuscitation.
