DESIGN OPTIMISATION AND SIMULATION OF COMPOSITES
The aim of this project is to optimise composite structures that are of general interest to the IComp partners. The objective is to identify composite structures with optimal mechanical performance, including but not limited to: maximal stiffness, maximal damage toughness, maximal fatigue toughness; and minimal mass and/or cost. The manufacturability of the design will be included as a constraint in the optimisation procedure.
