Russian students in class

Help Desk Schedule

A Help Desk and language consultation service is available every trimester at the start of term.

Language advisors will be available to answer your queries and to give advice regarding language levels and registration to our language modules.

We will also register Erasmus or Exchange students in-person at the Help Desk.

The Autumn 2024-25 Help Desk will run from Tuesday 3rd of September until the 11th of September, full schedule available below.

Week 0 - week of 2 September

  • Tuesday 3 September 11:00-13:00: French, Spanish
  • Wednesday 4 September 11:00-12:00: Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Italian, Japanese
  • Thursday 5 September 11:00-13:00: German, Spanish, Japanese
  • Friday 6 September 11:00-12:00: German
  • Room 3, first floor, Daedalus building
  • If you would prefer an online language consultation, please email us at languages@ucd.ie to arrange it.
  • Language advisors will be available to answer your queries and to give advice regarding language levels and registration.

Week 1 - week of 9 September

  • Monday 9 September 11:00-12:00: general language queries
  • Tuesday 10 September 11:00-12:00: general language queries
  • Wednesday 11 September 11:00-12:00: general language queries

Wondering how to register?

UCD undergraduate students: to register for language electives on SISweb, please select 'Global Languages' from the drop-down menu under 'Subject Search' (the second search box) on the elective registration tab.

You can also enter the module codes above into the first keyword 'Search' box (LANG...).
