Accessing UCD using a QQI-FET Award

Holders of a QQI FET Major Award at Level 5 or Level 6 (formerly known as FETAC) can apply for a number of UCD programmes through the QQI-FET Entry Pathway.

For example, if you have or are studying towards achieving a QQI major award in Business Administration 5M2468, you may apply for Arts, Business, Business and Law, Criminology and Psychology, Education with Gaeilge & Modern Languages, Humanities, Law, Modern Languages, Social Sciences, Social Policy and Sociology and Sustainability. 

Some programmes require that you have specific component modules. For example, the UCD Modern Languages programme requires that you have a language component as part of your Major Award.

Applications should be made directly through the CAO with places being allocated on a competitive basis.
