Samantha L. Martin-McAuliffe has been named a Mellon History Teaching Fellow at Dumbarton Oaks
Tuesday, 30 April, 2024
Samantha L. Martin-McAuliffe, Associate Professor in APEP, has been named a Mellon History Teaching Fellow in Landscape Studies at (opens in a new window)Dumbarton Oaks, a Harvard research institute. The fellowship is supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and is designed to enable award holders to enhance the teaching and learning of their home institutions.
She will spend the autumn term 2021 in Washington, DC, building innovative new syllabi and teaching materials on the intersection of landscape and democracy. These will be used to expand UCD's curriculum by developing and promoting cross-disciplinary initiatives that foreground democracy, urbanism and resilience.
