Decision support platform for optimum and sustainable Modern Methods of Construction rollout to alleviate the housing crisis
This project develops Platform4MMC, a decision-support tool that enables impartial assessment of the viability and total sustainability value (social, economic, environmental) of MMC categories for projects. It aims to foster faster, informed decision-making by public and private bodies to address the housing crisis while meeting sustainability requirements. The transdisciplinary challenge involves continuous engagement with stakeholders and research groups to build, localize, pilot, adapt, host, and maintain the platform in Ireland within the project’s budget and timelines.
