UCD’s Centre for Asia-Pacific Research is the university’s hub for research on Asia and Asia-Pacific.

The Centre's main purpose is to enhance the connectivity and the visibility of the work being carried out by UCD researchers on Asia and on Asia-Pacific, especially in the Colleges of Arts & Humanities and Social Sciences & Law.

The Centre's broader aim is to facilitate the dissemination both of knowledge and of critical debate about this vast region.
