UCD School of Archaeology marks 75 years of the UCD Archaeology Society On Thursday 26th October 2017
UCD School of Archaeology and the UCD Archaeology Society had a celebration of research communities past, present and future, to mark the 75 years of the Archaeology Society. The Inaugural Lecture, given by Professor Séamas Caulfield, was held at 7pm in the Moore Auditorium, UCD Science Centre. This event was preceded by the official launch of the Ardmore Annexe Laboratories and the naming of the Ardmore Seminar Room in honour of Professor Barry Raftery.
The 75th was also marked by the creation of an amazing cake by Niamh Kelly, currently researching for a PhD at UCD School of Archaeology.
