UCD Archaeological Society
The UCD Archaeological Society (ARCHSOC) has been in existence in UCD since 1943. It is run by archaeological students and is dedicated to providing lectures, excursions and artefact displays that benefit the students of Archaeology here in UCD. The society also acts as a social outlet for undergraduates and postgraduates and aims to create a sense of community within the college. You can contact the society during the year by speaking to committee members at the various events or by writing to them by email or c/o UCD School of Archaeology, Newman Building, UCD, Belfield, Dublin 4.

23rd January - Pseudo-Excavation" - Combining Archaeological Geophysics with Targeted Soil Coring for the Multi-Sited Study of an Irish Medieval Landscape. It will be delivered by Andrew Bair, a PhD candidate visiting from Harvard University.
