Born in Dublin 1927 to Kathy Barry, sister of Kevin Barry and Jim Moloney, Patrick was educated at Belvedere College and University College Dublin where he studied economics and history. Elected to the Students' Representative Council, 1947. Awarded an MA degree in economics, 1953. Employed by the Advertising Department, Irish Times, 1950–52. Employed by Mobiloil, London, 1953. Died in Dublin, July 1989.
This collection was deposited in UCD Archives by Moloney's nephew, Dr Eunan O'Halpin, in 1990 and 1991.
