Preparing for Internship
Students entering Stage 3 in 2023/24
Students entering Stage 3 in 2023-24 and who wish to do an internship for the Spring Trimester can begin to prepare for their internship in a number of ways.
- Set up your Student (opens in a new window)MyCareer account
- Meet with a Careers & Skills Consultant for a one to one consultation and to get advice on your CV or cover letter. All appointments can be booked via MyCareer.
- Students who intend to apply for internships in trimester 2 of stage 3 should begin the application process in October 2023. Any queries that students might have can be directed to the Internship and Employability Manager ((opens in a new window)artshumanities.internships@ucd.ie).
Students entering Stage 2 in 2023/24
Students in stage 2 in the 2023/24 academic year can begin to prepare for their internship in a number of ways.
- Set up your Student (opens in a new window)MyCareer account
- Attend Careers workshops for Arts and Humanities students
- Meet with a Careers & Skills Consultant for a one to one consultation and to get advice on your CV or cover letter. All appointments can be booked via MyCareer.
- Register to the (opens in a new window)HUM20030 Career Readiness module as an extra option in stage 2 (instead of one of your electives). While this is not a compulsory module, it is recommended.
- Students who intend to apply for internships in trimester 1 of stage 3 should begin the application process in February 2024. Any queries that students might have can be directed to the Internship and Employability Manager ((opens in a new window)artshumanities.internships@ucd.ie).
