Typhoid, Cockles, and Terrorism is an ambitious digital humanities project on the turbulent history of typhoid control in revolutionary Ireland.

Together with (opens in a new window)Dr Emily Webster, who will join UCD as a Research Associate this autumn, the team will create an open-access database of spatially coded disease, environmental, and infrastructural data and design a blended physical/digital exhibition on Dublin's enteric past with heritage partners at (opens in a new window)Dublin City Library & Archive and the (opens in a new window)Royal College of Physicians in Ireland.
