"Indigenous knowledge systems and communal resiliency" by Charlie Greg Sark, a member of the Lennox Island, Mi'kmaq First Nation and an Assistant Professor at the School of Climate Change & Adaptation, University of Prince Edward Island.

Virtual zoom tour of the Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation's Eptek Art and Culture Centre exhibition of contemporary Mi'kmaq women's art, Quills, Ash, and Bone: Current Perspectives on Traditional Mi'kmaq Art to illustrate some of the contemporary contexts for the material culture forms Charlie Sark will be discussing.

Speaker Bio
Charlie Greg Sark is a member of the Lennox Island, Mi'kmaq First Nation and an Assistant Professor at the School of Climate Change & Adaptation, University of Prince Edward Island. He is exploring indigenous knowledge systems and their role in developing local solutions to Climate Change.
