New paper published in journal Zootaxa

Congratulations to Prof Tom Bolger, Dr Julio Arroyo and Dr Tagdh O’Connell on their landmark publication of a paper entitled “Oribatid mites (Acari: Oribatida) recorded from Ireland: Catalogue, historical records, species habitats and geographical distribution, combinations, variations and synonyms” published in the prestigious journal Zootaxa.

Zootaxa is a peer-reviewed scientific mega journal for animal taxonomists. This paper has nearly 200 pages and comprises all research done on the animals in Ireland over more than 100 years. Historical combinations and variations of the taxa are offered as well as all Irish records of the habitats from which the species were collected including the county.
