Biofilm Lab Facilities
Main Laboratory
The Biofilm Lab is located in the UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering. It is very well equipped, modern facility with extensive bench space, fume hoods, laminar flow units, incubators, water purification systems. A range of membrane filtration systems for operation of RO, NF, UF and MF. Bioreactors and specialised biofilm cultivation systems (flow-cells, RDRs etc from Biosurface technologies), Microscopes: (visible and fluorescence), Zeta potential (streaming potential) measurement equipment.
