Retirement of Tony Fitzpatrick from the UCD School of Biosystems & Food Engineering
Tony Fitzpatrick retired from his position as Senior Technical Officer in the UCD School of Biosystems & Food Engineering (SBFE) in May 2017 after over 38 years of service. During his time at UCD, Tony managed the SBFE laboratories and was involved in both teaching and research, particularly in the areas of food engineering and processing. Throughout his career, Tony has made an invaluable contribution to the SBFE. In particular, he was involved in the training of many undergraduate and postgraduate students through assisting with their practicals and projects. The SBFE wishes Tony an enjoyable and well deserved retirement.
