The School of Biosystems and Food Engineering welcomed graduates from HDip in Spectroscopic Technologies & Data Analysis for Advanced Manufacturing, Graduate Diploma in Environmental Sustainability Implementation,Graduate Diploma in Carbon Accounting & Life Cycle Assessment to confer their awards on Monday 20th January, in the Fitzgerald Debating Chamber in UCD Student Centre. Conferral ceremonies are important occasion to recognise the hard work and dedication of our graduates. We were delighted to host the graduates alongside their friends and families for an evening of celebration and connection. The programmes conferred were primarily remote learners and we were delighted to welcome to campus for this occasion. The Head of School address from Professor Paula Bourke congratulated the graduates on their engagement and dedication to their studies and encouraged them to stay connected to the School. Margaret Gleeson, Senior Environmental Consultant at Malone O'Regan Environmental and the MSc Sustainable Energy & Green Technologies, Class of 2019, addressed the graduates- an inspiring example of the applications of this level of knowledge and skill. Awards were presented by Professor Aoife Gowen, Dr Tamíris Da Costa and Dr Rajat Nag. The School of Biosystems and Food Engineering send best wishes to the graduates.
