Flavia de Andrade Pereira
Flavia is a PhD candidate at University College Dublin and an Early Stage Researcher at CARTIF Technology Centre within the CBIM ETN, a project that aims to develop disruptive BIM technologies and boost the industrial uptake of BIM-enabled processes. Her research is focused on digitally-enabled technologies in the building/energy sector, exploring BIM, BAS and semantic web technologies to promote the scalability of building-to-grid applications. She holds M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Smart Systems Integration from a joint programme between the Heriot-Watt University, University of South-Eastern Norway and Budapest University of Technology and Economics, a specialisation degree in Energy Systems from the University of Sao Paulo and a B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Federal Technological University of Parana. Flavia also has multi-disciplinary, international experience working for energy consulting organisations in Brazil and the USA, performing energy audits and building energy simulations.
