UCD College of Business Mentoring Programmes
As an alum of the UCD College of Business, you have the skills and experience to support current students and fellow alumni in many ways. One of the most rewarding and helpful ways you can give back is by taking on the role of a mentor. You can help current students to develop their career ideas, clarify their goals and improve their employability, whilst simultaneously building and strengthening links between the campus community and our alumni network.
As a mentor, you can make a real difference to a student’s future by helping your mentee understand their academic and career opportunities and choices, or by offering advice on specific issues. Mentoring can take place face-to-face or remotely and so is open to all alumni, regardless of their geographical location.
As our diverse student population continues to grow, we require new and returning mentors each year. We warmly invite you to support our College of Business students by participating in one of our formal mentoring programmes:
- The UCD Quinn Business Mentoring Programme for second year Quinn School students.
- The Global Leadership Programme (GLP) for Smurfit Masters students.
- The CEMS Mentoring Programme for students of the MSc in International Management (CEMS) programme.
- The MBA Mentoring Programme for students of the MBA programme (see further details below).
To maximise the learnings for our mentees, we are seeking Alumni participants who have a minimum of five years post-graduation professional experience. If you would like to become a mentor, we would be delighted to hear from you, please email businessalumni@ucd.ie.
