Ovarian cancer is a significant cause of mortality among women in Ireland. Between 2013 and 2015, it ranked as the fourth most common cause of cancer deaths among Irish women, with an average of 269 deaths annually. The age-adjusted mortality rate for ovarian cancer in Irish women is 9.7 per 100,000, which is higher than the EU average of 7.1 per 100,000. Additionally, ovarian cancer rates in Ireland are 24% higher than the EU average, with an incidence rate of 15.6 per 100,000 people compared to the EU average of 12.6 per 100,000. These statistics highlight the significant impact of ovarian cancer on women's health in Ireland.

We are currently running one clinical trial for women with relapsed platinum-resistant epithelial  ovarian cancer, find out more in here.
