What resources will be provided to prepare employers for a successful fair experience?

You will receive an exhibitor manual before the fair, with detailed information about the location, parking, stalls, catering, set-up and the running of the event.

You will also receive a guide on how to create your full profile on our MyCareer platform. This allows you to share information and open vacancies with our students ahead of and after the fairs. Students will be able to 'follow' your company on MyCareer to get notifications when you post a new vacancy on the system.

You will also be invited to share promotional videos, testimonials, images and/or texts that we will use in our promotional campaign across our Social Media channels and special edition LinkedIn Newsletter. This is a complimentary service as part of your booking.

When can employers begin setting up their stands?

Set-up time is between 9:00am - 12:00am on the day of the Fairs.

What information do we ask Exhibitors to have at their stall?

Exhibitors should bring their own signage and pop-up stands.

Each exhibitor will be allocated an area of approximately 2.5m x 1.5m. Each area will contain a covered table and 2 chairs. There will be power available, but we encourage exhibitors to bring their own extension cables for ease of access. Please let us know in advance if your exhibition stand requires power.

We encourage Exhibitors to bring information about their company and the employment opportunities they offer or want to promote.

Exhibitors are required to keep in line with their allocated stand area and any additional marketing equipment, e.g. videos, photo booths etc. must be approved by the UCD Careers Network.

For further information about items that are not allowed, please refer to point 3 of our Fair Terms & Conditions.

During the fair...

How many staff members can employers have at their stall?

For health & safety reasons, up to 4 staff members can be at an employer stand at any given time.

Is there parking available?

Parking is limited at UCD and it will not be possible to reserve a parking space on the day. In general we encourage you to consider public transport alternatives when traveling to UCD, however if you need to drive and park we encourage you to review UCD's Guide to Parking on Campus for more information.

How can I deliver equipment and materials?

There is a delivery entrance to O'Reilly Hall which can be used for dropping off any equipment or materials on the morning of the fair only.

The delivery entrance is on the north side of O'Reilly Hall, next to the loading bay, which can be accessed via the O'Reilly Hall car park.

Will lunch be provided?

Yes, lunch will be provided and there will be vegan and gluten free options available. In line with the maximum allowance of four staff members per stall, to prevent food waste a maximum of four lunch vouchers per company are provided.

What does the stand look like/what is provided with the stand?

Each Exhibitor will be provided with a shell stand, 2 chairs, and each stand will have a high countertop. The dimensions of the stands are 2.5m x 1.5m with a height of 2.5m.

Does UCD provide technical equipment to Exhibitors?

UCD does not provide technical equipment (such as screens), but Exhibitors are invited to bring their own equipment in compliance with Health and Safety Requirement for Exhibitors. Power sources will be available but we encourage you to bring your own extension cable if you require access to power.
