Prof. Kenneth Dawson, Director of the Centre for BioNano Interactions (CBNI), has been named as one of the successful researchers to receive the distinction of 2022 Highly Cited Researcher from Clarivate.
Each year Clarivate highlights the world’s most influential researchers as demonstrated by the production of multiple highly-cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in the Web of Science™. Prof. Kenneth Dawson, Director of the Centre for BioNano Interactions (CBNI), has again been named as one of the successful researchers to receive the distinction of Highly Cited Researcher. The 2022 listing identifies almost 7,000 researchers from 69 countries who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen fields over the last decade.
His fifth inclusion in the Highly Cited Researchers report since 2018, Professor Kenneth Dawson from the UCD School of Chemistry is recognised as a leading thinker on the principles governing the interactions of nanoscale entities with living organisms.
CBNI endeavours to carry out research at the boundaries of medical and life sciences. This award highlights the strong efforts and motivation of all those working within and in collaboration with CBNI. Funding bodies who supported the research which led to this distinction deserve a special thank you.
