The 74th of the Chemistry Colloquium was held at the University of Galway on the 14th and 15th of June 2023. This event, organized by the Institute of Chemistry of Ireland and hosted by the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences, brought together outstanding scientists, professors, and PhD students from Ireland and beyond.
CBNI PhD candidate Zhan Ban, was invited to present an oral presentation entitled "Identification and Characterization of RNA Granule Proteome with Machine Learning." The study delves into the complex world of RNA granules, functional compartments within cells that play a vital role in posttranscriptional gene regulation with machine learning. This work contributes to a deeper understanding of the fundamental principles underlying RNA granule formation.
