The Celtic Advanced Life Science Innovation Network (CALIN) closing event was on the 24th of May 2023. The meeting highlighted the project's various achievements, notably outperforming on its private investment goals where it generated more than 5x its metric and the over 30 jobs created. Governments and the project's leadership spoke during the morning session. Partners highlighted their projects and research in the late morning and early afternoon sessions. The proceedings were concluded with a panel discussing the legacy of CALIN and a path forward.

whichfocused on the human factor, especially CALIN's impact on young researchers and their career prospects. Prof. Dawson's talk illustrated CALIN's impact on a broad range of stakeholders. He put a special emphasis on the importance of knowledge and people exchange between academia and industry.
Eoin O'Neill presented CBNI's project with the SME Marigot, a food supplements company.
Qiwei Wang discussed his achievements working with Altratech, an infectious disease detection company.
