Exciting International Collaboration with Kazakhstani Exchange Students

We were thrilled to welcome 17 postgraduate exchange students from Kazakhstan University of Logistics and Transportation to our CDIC TCPEP undergraduate B.Sc. programme. These students, majoring in transportation, joined our Sustainable Development and Environmental Change modules bringing fresh global perspectives into the classroom.

Through dynamic discussions and participatory work, they explored climate crisis responses and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sharing insights from Kazakhstan on the urgency of sustainable development in tackling 21st-century global challenges. Their contributions sparked cross-cultural conversations, enriching the learning experience for all.

Adding to this inspiring exchange, Dr. Tadhg O'Mahony (on the picture) met with the students, further strengthening international academic ties and collaboration.
