The UCD Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA) has internationally recognised educational programmes in international humanitarian action. These draw on the experience and expertise of UCD staff and partners, including university partners, non-governmental organisations, and inter-governmental organisations, and the private sector.
Part of the Centre's mission is to:
- Facilitate academic-practitioner links to enhance the efficacy of research and teaching in humanitarian action and bridge the divide between the field and higher education institutions; and
- Educate the next generation of humanitarian actors to the highest professional and academic standards.
