Research Groups

The Tobin Lab

Specific disorders of interest include: melanoma, vitiligo, canities, alopecia areata, psoriasis, vitiligo & diabetic wound healing. We also develop new technologies in skin care.

The Wang Lab

Our research is focused on the development of functional biomaterials including polymers and hydrogels with the aim of improving therapeutic outcomes for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), diabetic skin wounds, burn wounds & acute wounds, cartilage regeneration and neurodegenerative diseases.

The Ahn Group

Our lab is interested in understanding cell-extracellular matrix mechanobiology in 3D contexts.

The Kirby Lab

Our research is focused on the study of systemic and tissue-specific inflammation in common human inflammatory skin diseases (especially psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa), from both laboratory and clinical perspectives.

The Zeugolis Lab:

Using in vitro and ex vivo assays, our lab examines the cellular and molecular control of key skin and hair follicle biologic process in health (incl. aging) and disease. Specific disorders of interest include: melanoma, vitiligo, canities, alopecia areata, psoriasis, vitiligo & diabetic wound healing. We also develop new technologies in skin care.
