The CHAS Graduate Research Symposium took place on May 1st 2024 in The O’Brien Science Building Auditorium. Graduate researchers from across our 5 schools attended showcasing their work across the disciplines of Science, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture. Attendees witnessed an afternoon of excellence in terms of the quality, diversity and leadership in the researchers' presentations.
Over 11 graduate researchers presented their work to an audience of peers, senior academics and university staff. The corridors of the O'Brien Science building were filled with an impressive array of posters showcasing our graduate researchers work. The day was marked with extensive conversations as students exchanged studies and findings and connected with other disciplines within the college to share their experience, network and connect for possible future collaborations.
Following on from a series of talks showcasing abstracts of their work, Prizes were awarded by Vice Principal for Research, Innovation and Impact Professor Lorraine Brennan. A huge congratulations to those receiving awards!
