HUMAN STEM CELLS AND GENOME EDITING FOR CHINESE MEDICINE

Chinese Medicine has benefited Chinese people for >5000 years, but Identification of effective components and evidence-based research are essential to the western medical systems.

Human stem cells and gene editing now provide a good opportunity for developing Chinese medicine, and libraries of small molecules are yet to be constructed from Chinese herbs. International collaborative research shall help further development of Chinese medicine, and the development of the combinatorial therapy of Chinese and regenerative medicine will benefit global human kind.
