Dr. Mark Coughlan is a Marine Geoscientist based in the School of Civil Engineering / iCRAG Research Centre in UCD, working with Assoc. Prof. Mike Long. His work concerns using various techniques to examine the seabed and offshore soils to help derisking offshore wind turbine construction.
