UCD Climate Fellows

The UCD Climate Fellows Programme supports the wider dissemination of climate research and the career development of leading-edge climate academics and researchers, with a particular emphasis on enhancing the societal impact of climate research.

2024 Climate Fellows

Our first cohort of UCD Climate Fellows were appointed in 2024 and reflect the breadth of academic disciplines and research approaches that are contributing to our understanding of the climate crisis, encompassing environmental scientists, engineers, architects and mathematicians, as well as researchers working in climate finance, social justice, humanitarian action, politics and policy.

Through the programme, which is managed by the UCD Earth Institute, the Fellows are supported in developing new projects and initiatives, expanding their network of academic and societal collaborators, and enhancing the impact of their research.
