European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology 2017 Congress

PhD student Una Cunningham presented a poster based on her ongoing research at the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) Congress in Dublin on 19th May 2017. The title of the poster was Understanding the factors that enable Irish healthcare teams to work effectively: A realist approach - Stage 1 Building Programme Theory.

Dr Aoife De Brún also presented the paper Using social network analysis to map leadership networks in a new hospital group: Does collective leadership emerge? at the EAWOP Congress.

About Us

Collective Leadership and Safety Cultures (Co-Lead) is a 5-year programme in UCD that is researching the impact of an emerging model of leadership (collective leadership) on team performance and healthcare safety.

We are designing and implementing collective leadership interventions for different team types and testing the impact of these interventions on staff performance and patient safety.
