Professor Raftery and Dr Delaney's paper, 'Teaching vocation or religious vocation?: professional identity and the history of teaching sisters in Ireland, 1870-1970’ was accepted for presentation at the European Social Science History Conference due to take place in the University of Leiden from 18-21 March 2020.

Due to Covid_19 the conference was postponed until March 2021. Professor Raftery and Dr Delaney look forward to presenting their paper 'Teaching vocation or religious vocation?' at ESSHC in 2021.

H-WRBI2020, Margaret Beaufort Institute, University of Cambridge, Cambridge

The ConventCollections research team had a number of joint and individual papers accepted to the History of Women Religious Britain and Ireland (H-WRBI) conference which was scheduled to take place on 2-3 July 2020 at the Margaret Beaufort Institute, University of Cambridge.

Unfortunately, because of Covid_19, the conference was cancelled. The ConventCollections team will host the H-WRBI conference in 2021.
