Nano Nagle: the Life and the Legacy Book Launch

November 2018 saw the launch of Nano Nagle, the Life and the Legacy, published by Irish Academic Press. The book is authored by Deirdre Raftery, Catriona Delaney and Catherine Nowlan Roebuck. The study, spanning Nagle’s life and the development of Presentation convent schools over a century, represented research that this team undertook, over nearly three years. Archives in the UK, USA, Canada and Ireland were consulted. The research for this project was supported by the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, NE Province, and by UCD Foundation.
