The ConventCollections research team made a trip to the Loreto/IBVM Archives, Kolkata, in November 2019. The research will form part of a new book on Mother M Teresa Ball, foundress of the IBVM in Ireland, and a doctorate on Mother M Michael Corcoran, who made a major contribution to the education of Irish girls and women in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The Irish Loreto/IBVM nuns made a foundation in India in 1846.
