CAMPEP accreditation

CAMPEP Accreditation

The UCD MSc. in Medical Physics was initially accredited by the CAMPEP's Graduate Education Programme Review Committee in August  2020 and, following a site visit in September 2024, has been re-accredited through June 30, 2027. Our MSc. will enhance your education in Medical Physics and help prepare you for a career in this exciting field. Specifically, our MSc. will help you prepare for the American Board of Radiology exams and allow you to apply to residency programmes requiring CAMPEP accreditation both in Ireland and North America.

Our CAMPEP-accredited Graduate Diploma in Medical Physics is aimed at PhD physics graduates who wish to obtain a CAMPEP-accredited qualification for accessing residency programmes. The taught content of this Graduate Diploma is the same as that of the MSc. (60 ECTS credits), but does not require the completion of a research project.

Our new PhD in Medical Physics programme is also accredited under CAMPEP.
