Who is this training for?
This training is designed for those who will be using the new University CRM Applications System to review information provided as part of the application and to revert their recommendation to another member of staff who is responsible for making the offer or no offer to the applicant.
There are two elements of Essentials Training. They are:
- Essentials eLearning Module
- Essentials Workshop
Both of these elements must be completed, and completed in the above order before logging into and using the new system. Please continue reading below to learn more about each element and to book your place on both.
1. Essentials eLearning Module
This first element of the Essentials Training Programme to be completed is the Essentials eLearning Module. This self-paced module will take roughly 60 minutes to complete and takes the learner through key Admissions processes and best practice guidelines. There are also accompanying instructions on how to carry out these processes in the new system.

2. Essentials Workshop
You can choose to attend these workshops either in-person or online via Zoom.
- The in-person Essentials Workshops are 1.5 hours in duration. Participants will complete set tasks during the training.
- The online (Zoom) Essentials Workshop is 1 hour in duration. Trainers will demonstrate the tasks on the screen.

The workshop will assume knowledge of the content covered in the eLearning module, so it is vital that the eLearning is completed first.
