UCD College of Science Women in Science Mentoring Awards
Happy International Women’s Day!
We are thrilled to announce, on International Women’s Day, that two of our female academics, Assistant Professor Fatemeh Golpayegani and Associate Professor Georgiana Ifrim, have been honoured with UCD’s College of Science Women in Science Mentoring Awards. These awards acknowledge mentors whose efforts have fostered encouragement and support for women, girls, and other underrepresented individuals within the UCD College of Science community. The awards were presented during a special ceremony at the O'Brien Centre for Science, today 8th March. We invite you to join us in congratulating them and acknowledging the valuable contributions they make to the School of Computer Science through their mentoring efforts.
This is a commendable initiative spearheaded by Vice President for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in the College of Science, Associate Professor Catherine Mooney.
