IT Systems Manager
Position Summary
UCD School of Computer Science is seeking to appoint an IT Systems Manager, who will lead, manage, and direct operations of the IT Team, providing a high level professional support, implementing new and improved services for School staff and students.
The purpose of this role is:
• To lead a team of technical staff supporting academic and professional staff within the UCD School of
• Computer Science School Office.
• To support the Head of School and other senior members of the School as appropriate in the technical
• management of the School’s facilities and systems.
• To oversee the procurement of IT hardware and software.
• To develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships and effective interactions with other
• technical and facilities teams across the University.
The person will report to the Head of School and will liaise closely with the School Manager in ensuring the effective running of the School.
