Research Assistant, UCD School of Computer Science, Temporary 18 month post

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant within UCD School of Computer Science.

Through its research, CONSUS aims to develop a data-driven suite of intelligent decision support services that will aid agronomists and farmers in the management of their crops. These services will be underpinned by the CONSUS software and data framework.

This role will focus on the CONSUS Software Framework, supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of the associated software infrastructure. This role will assist with field trials and evaluation of CONSUS software prototypes. Additionally, the role will be involved in implementing and evaluating a crop root imaging analysis algorithm.

This is a research focussed role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research under the supervision and direction of the Principal Investigator. The primary purpose of the role is to help deliver on the objectives of the research programme and to further develop your research skills and competences.

Salary range: €23,061 - €25,866 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience
