The CTPR were represented at the 2022 IASP ‘World Congress on Pain’ in Toronto, Canada.
The theme of the Congress is ‘Personalised Pain Management:The Future Is Now’
The Federation represents 38 Chapters of the International Association for the Study of Pain.
For the first time the meeting was a hybrid event with 1800 delegates attending in-person and on-line.
This PhD research programme will investigate pain science education within undergraduate and graduate entry physiotherapy curricula on the island of Ireland.

In total 17 poster and 7 platform presentations were included in the conference on a broad range of multidisciplinary topics.
The CTPR held its inaugural scientific meeting on Monday 13th June 2016.
Adequate levels of health literacy are necessary to allow patients to obtain, read, understand and use healthcare information to make appropriate health decisions and follow instructions for treatment.
