Ivan Jurak
Senior Lecturer
Ivan attained a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Applied Health Sciences, Zagreb in 2013, and a second Master’s degree in Health Sciences from Alma Mater Europaea, Maribor in 2017. He is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Statistics, specifically the biostatistics module, at the University of Ljubljana.
Since 2009, Ivan has been teaching at the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb, initially as a teaching assistant. In 2014, he was promoted to lecturer and then to senior lecturer in 2019. Ivan teaches courses in Biomechanics, Clinical Kinesiology, Motor Transformations and Motor Learning, and Research Methods in Physiotherapy. He is currently serving as the acting head of the Undergraduate Study Program in Physiotherapy.
Ivan is a member of several professional and scientific societies and has worked as a collaborator for the Physiotherapy Evidence Database, evaluating the methodological quality of randomized clinical trials via the PEDro scale.
He has (co)authored more than 30 publications. His areas of special interest include statistics, methodology, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
