UBIAS Technical Staff Exchange Program
As part of the University Based Institutes for Advanced Study (UBIAS) network aimed at fostering global scientific exchange, the UCD Institute for Discovery launched our UBIAS Technical Staff Exchange Program enabling reciprocal technical staff exchanges from network institutions to work across borders, sharing knowledge, resources, and innovative ideas.
IEAT Exchange
The Institute successfully partnered with the Institute of Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT), Minais Gerais University Brasil in 2024, and hosted Aretusa Alves Duarte in University College Dublin.
Aretusa worked with the Discovery team for one month, exchanging cultural and interdisciplinary research knowledge and working on joint UBIAS program planning. She also attended English language classes during her time at UCD. Read more.
