Applicant Agreement (This is also stated on the Scholarship Application form)
- Any false statements, omissions, or other misrepresentations made by me on this application will invalidate this application and may result in disciplinary action.
- My eligibility for this award will be subject to my achievement of the minimum BSc (Engineering Science) Degree GPA requirement of 2.80 over stages 2 and 3, weighted by a factor of 3 (for Stage 2) and a factor of 7 (for Stage 3).
- This award will not become payable until I am a registered student in the fifth fee-paying year of the UCD Master of Engineering programme.
- I confirm consent for my UCD Student Records (fees, admissions, registration, assessment, etc.) to be reviewed as part of the assessment process for this scholarship.
- I agree to the UCD Engineering and Architecture College Office processing the data provided by me in this application solely for the purposes of assessing my eligibility for a Réalta ME Scholarship. UCD only shares this data with the Réalta ME Scholarship Assessment Panel comprising three UCD staff members under strict control.

Terms and Conditions
- Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships are available to UCD Engineering undergraduate students, who might be uncertain about their ability to fund the fifth, fee-paying year, to progress into and complete the ME programme.
- Without exception, only complete applications received on or before the deadline will be considered.
- The Réalta ME Scholarship Assessment Panel’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
- Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships are conditional and subject to the successful student registering to the fifth, fee-paying year of their ME Programme.
- These scholarships are tenable for one year only, i.e. the fifth, fee-paying year of the ME programme of study. The scholarships will be paid in monthly instalments over the academic year.
- The students who are awarded the Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships are required to pay any fees due to the University. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.
- Students will be expected to fulfil the regulations of the College of Engineering and Architecture and to undergo any examinations/ assessment as determined by the authorities of their college for their programme of study.
- The University reserves the right to withdraw the bursary should a student continually fail to attend their programme of study, fail to complete the academic standards of their programme, or if they face disciplinary proceedings.
- The Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships are funded through donor agreed funding through the UCD Foundation.
- By accepting a Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarship, successful students will be invited to a Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarship recognition event organised by the College of Engineering and Architecture. Group photos may be taken at this event and may be used for reports to the scholarship donor (administered by UCD Foundation).
- Successful candidates will be required to provide a scholarship recipient report to UCD Foundation, extracts of which will be used in reports to the Trustees of the Foundation that fund the Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarship.
- Successful candidates may be invited to attend meetings with the Trustees of the Foundation that fund the Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarship (administered by UCD Foundation).
