Terms and Conditions
-
Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships are available to UCD Engineering undergraduate students, who might be uncertain about their ability to fund the fifth, fee-paying year, to progress into and complete the ME programme.
-
Without exception, only complete applications received on or before the deadline will be considered.
-
The Réalta ME Scholarship Assessment Panel’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
-
Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships are conditional and subject to the successful student registering to the fifth, fee-paying year of their ME Programme.
-
These scholarships are tenable for one year only, i.e. the fifth, fee-paying year of the ME programme of study. The scholarships will be paid in monthly instalments over the academic year.
-
The students who are awarded the Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships are required to pay any fees due to the University. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.
-
Students will be expected to fulfil the regulations of the College of Engineering and Architecture and to undergo any examinations/assessments as determined by the authorities of their college for their programme of study.
-
The University reserves the right to withdraw the bursary should a student continually fail to attend their programme of study, fail to complete the academic standards of their programme, or if they face disciplinary proceedings.
-
The scholarship will be recorded for each student on the UCD student records system in the year in which it is paid to the recipient.
-
The Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships are funded through donor-agreed funding through the UCD Foundation.
