- Meeting place: Chess garden next to the UCD lake and the Science Centre
Find out more about plant life on campus, as well as ongoing plant research, with Noeleen Smyth and Aisling Reilly from the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science. On the walk we will take a look at spring flowering trees, some of the biodiversity on campus, pests, diseases and interesting tales on plant and fungal interactions
Part of our series of spring weekly campus walks each Wednesday from 1-2pm from 16 April to 21 May. Our next walks will focus on trees, buildings, managing the campus for biodiversity, and bees and other pollinators.
Each spring, the Earth Institute hosts a series of lunchtime Belfield walks led by members of the Institute community which explore the campus from different perspectives and highlight current research.
