Abstract: Coastal communities and their environments are under pressure to transform due to ongoing environmental, social, political, and economic changes. In this talk, Geertje will briefly give an overview of work done around Dundalk Bay on how resident concerns over transformations in the local environment can help to explain support or opposition to local development projects.
