Taking a fresh look at Interreg
Interreg is one of the key instruments of the European Union, supporting cooperation across borders through project funding. Its aim is to jointly tackle common challenges and find shared solutions in fields such as the environment, research, education, transport, sustainable energy and more by funding collaborative cross-border and transnational multi-partner projects based around regions. With application success rates typically much higher than the more well known Horizon Europe/2020 funding, Interreg may be worth considering. In this information session, we hear from Brendan Mooney, Interreg National Contact Point, about opportunities with the new programme period, followed by a panel discussion with current awardees (Prof. Tasman Crowe, Prof. Wim Meijer, and Dr. Philip Crowe) from UCD who speak about their experiences of Interreg.
